Introduction to m!ne Rent to Buy

Rent to Buy is a government backed scheme which aims to ease the transition from renting to buying. So if you’re struggling to get on the property ladder, by opting for a m!ne home you will benefit from a reduced rate of rent, usually around 20% lower than you’d pay to a private landlord. This means that with the money you save, you’ll be able to build up a deposit at the same time and buy your home after five years.

There are no reservation fees or tenancy deposit.
You will be required you pay your first months rent upfront.

Eligibility Criteria

To reserve a m!ne home you must:

• Be at least 18 years old at the time of signing your tenancy agreement
• Be a first-time buyer or returning to the market after a relationship breakdown
• Not currently own another residential property
• Be able to evidence you are working at the time of the initial letting
• Have insufficient funds/deposit to purchase a property on the open market
• Have the ‘Right to Rent’ in the UK (as defined by government guidelines)
• Not have any outstanding credit issues and be able to pass a m!ne credit check. Please note if you have any CCJs or IVAs this will be an automatic refusal.

Viewings will only be carried out once your application has been completed and you have been accepted following all checks.
